They have an amazing smartphone series known as "Mi mobiles" with various ROMs created for a variety of users. Mi flash tool is released to flash ROMs to these devices. We can use it to upgrade or downgrade the ROM version. Not only that but also it helps to recover mobile phones in a bricked situation. You can easily install this software on your PC. You just have to give directions by clicking next. After you connect the device to the computer, It will automatically install the needed drivers.

Clean all option will clear all the data and internal storage while flashing.

Let's install Mi flash tool on your computer

Important: This tool is compatible with Windows 7 and Windows 10. It supports both 32 and 64 it versions also. Make sure to remove any older version of Mi. When you run the .msi you might get a warning message. Don't worry about it.

1. Download the latest version of the flash tool.
2. Extract the downloaded zip file.
3. Find MiFlashSetup.msi and run it.
4. Now you just have to go through the installation process with the "Next" button.
5. After the installation complete close the window panel.

Let's use the flash tool  

1. Download fastboot Rom (.tgz/.tar Format) from the official site.
2. Extract it.
3. Switch off the phone and press power on button and volume down button simultaneously for few seconds. This will boot the device into Fastboot mode. In it, you will see the mi bunny on screen.
4. Connect the smartphone and the PC with a micro USB cable.
5. From the pc open the Mi tool.
6. Select unzipped Fastboot Rom folder --> Select --> find the stock firmware on the device
7. Select an option. (Mention above) --> flash button
8. When the process finishes you can see a message saying that it was successful.
